How To Collage An Envelope.

Thank you for your enthusiasm re:  my Lost Art Project.

Below is the tutorial I promised.

Basic Supplies Needed:

envelopes any size

glue stick - elmers glue stick is my favorite/priced right also

scissors

magazines to tear

(husky coffee cup is optional)

open envelope

create surprise collage on inside upper flap

turn envelope over

collage left to right - using strips. covering entire envelope.

note where image interest or focus might be - this gets better as you do more.

when all is collaged. trim with scissors.

glue stick any loose edges.

fold utilizing existing folding lines.

glue to make it an envelope again - glue on both surfaces when gluing envelope together ( glue on glue = stronger bond) 

additional supplies: write a note (yes that's a beer label and a chocolate wrapper as stationary) add mailing label (for this project i am tearing labels off to maintain privacy)and stamp accordingly. got any cool stamps?  use them!
