My Neighbor Brings Me Eggs

my new neighbor showed up wearing knee high rubber boots toting just laid eggs in a purple knit cap. i was beside myself happy. neighborly eggs have arrived accordingly ever since. each time i have felt the same very grateful glee. i, of course photographed each delivery, if anything to acknowledge the neighborly gesture. more so, i just find them so very very beautiful. i eat eggs. a LOT of eggs. in the month of april i took on a personal photo project (more on that later ) and egg, or things made with egg. specifically, my neighbors eggs. were part of that expression.  what i noticed was what i like to call reverence.  really showed up in my image taking. eggs might be a commodity item to some, something you always have around, and perhaps something one might take for granted. but living dollar to dollar ...gosh, more like penny to penny. these gifted eggs are like liquid gold to me!
