This fabulous trio of black and white collages began touring in 2016.  They have been as far as Seattle! They are a strong representation of collage as an art narrative.

Now offering prints of these. Contact me directly for pricing

Collage for local artist Karen Hanrahan is meditative, story telling, personally insightful and some times dead on about the nuances of the subconscious mind. Karen respects that reveal. She loves to share her process and to facilitate and prompt others to collage as well.

The narrative of these three collages shares the story of finding an apartment in Bellingham. As the story goes Karen did not find safe housing for several years. In her first circumstance, 3 days after she arrived, the roommate said “You Can’t Stay Here.” Imagine how mortified she was. Karen had just relocated 3500 miles. Her belongings had not even arrived.

And Then She Cried
