This is a super example of some of my newest work. I am combining collage, photographs, and crazy quilt format into these wonderful squares. The works are all bound with a glossy paper back much like a quilt is and there is an added grommet for ease of hanging.  I began exploring some of this last summer. 

I do not know of anyone doing work like this. I feel original in this process! I am original in this process. Glee!!

My motivation for experimenting this way is to try and eliminate the need for frames for my work.

1. they are expensive 2. i seriously have no place to store them. 3. to ship art --- frames make it heavy and pricey. 

The pieces below will be hosted by Brazen Shop + Studio.  This is a summer re-stock of my work there.  Did I tell you that I signed a second year contract with them?? AND they have booked me for a solo installation for January of 2020. I am so excited!!
